Vice President, Agile Center of Excellence

The candidate must be a strong leader with effective management skills, be detailed oriented, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Reporting into the Head of Portfolio and Agile Management, this role leads the Agile Center of Excellence (ACOE) practice and helps to ensure the success of the organization's agile journey. This role leads the team of Coaches and Scrum Masters to ensure the organization is consistently applying use of Agile Frameworks and Methods, building momentum for use of Agile across the organization, and continuing to develop and improve Agile capabilities through continuing to mature practices and applying scaling patterns aligned to the Scaled Agile Framework.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Technology or related field of study
8+ years of experience
Excellent leadership and communication skills to include verbal, written and presentation
5-10 years' experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
5+ years of experience delivering solutions in true agile environment
Impact You'll Make
Accountable for leading the overall program vision, strategy, and execution for Agile Transformation across the global TransUnion enterprise.
Lead alignment on program vision across all stakeholders while advising and articulating program/project strategies on enabling Agile Transformation across TransUnion
Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
Oversee the Agile Center of Excellence to promote the success of Agile expansion in the Organization through engaging leaders and stakeholders, overseeing the performance of coaches, release train engineers and scrum masters, and creating and applying consistent standards
Oversee the outcomes and resourcing of the roles within the Agile Center of Excellence.
Support Agile coach and scrum master onboarding and training including ownership of guidelines for transitioning COE Agile coaches on and off Agile teams; provide strategic guidance, issue escalation and resolution, and thought partnership.
Establish and monitor metrics of success for agile coaching, scaling and enablement.
Develop and implement mitigations to any off track metrics
Support transformation by contributing to training content and delivery.
Occasional travel to offices in Chicago (Corporate) and other Global offices as needed
