  • The VP of Program Management Office and Corporate Systems will be responsible for leading the Program Management Office in a global risk management and execution-focused manner and the Corporate Systems organization which includes HR and Financial applications.  The focus for this position is to drive organizational effectiveness and accountability and equally serves as a key liaison with technology leaders and their verticals including the Product Development Organization and business clients. This position facilitates planning, prioritization, collaboration and reporting between groups and delivery of the end product. 

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • 15+ years progressive project and program management experience with proven experience in successfully implementing major change initiatives in a global organization.
  • Experience establishing and leading successful large scale projects and programs across an enterprise utilizing external providers, offshore resources and internal staff.
  • Experience building high performing teams by promoting values, ideas and achieving consensus as well as coaching and mentoring skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication including superior presentation skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Bachelors in Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge of Enterprise Agile and SDLC Project Methodology

 

 

Preferred requirements:

 

  • Master’s degree in relevant discipline
  • Experience with SaFE Agile Methodology

 

Impact you’ll make: 

 

 

  • PMO oversight
    • Drives the adoption and implementation of project and program management methodology and oversees project and program management coaching. Establishes methodologies and governance for the Organization.
    • Establishes a program to ensure utilization and maturation of best practice project management standards and methodologies. Fosters an environment for team and individual growth and success by providing mentoring and training in Project management established processes, policies, and procedures.
    • Implement communities of practice in the area of Project Management and Process Engineering while transforming it to support an Enterprise Agile Organization.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Defines metrics and reports to ensure successful project delivery; globally
    • Sets standards to be implemented to capture meaningful data; distributes the data and insights to key leaders across the organization
  • Demand management
    • Works closely with all constituents to prioritize programs and projects based on business needs, resource capacity, risk exposure and interdependencies.
    • Ensures that investments and initiatives are aligned with business strategy and priorities.
  • Delivery
    • Coordinates the implementation of products & solutions through the Agile software development methodology by directing teams of Project/Program Managers.
    • Coordinates product development initiatives with Product Development team including contribution of new ideas to the product development pipeline, information gathering to support business case/ROI, participation with Business Development team with a view to assisting the marketing of new products and solutions. 
    • Oversees all phases of product/services implementations to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures, including Information Security Policies
    • Evaluate current processes and implement global practice improvements to ensure Organization alignment and frictionless delivery
  • HR and Finance Systems
    • Lead and manage the delivery and support teams for HR and Financial systems; ~ 30 FTE excluding contractors
