Position Summary

Hybrid Position.
The Organizational Development Specialist provides overall support in the assessment of
organizational needs including change management, culture, development, talent, and mentoring. This position
will support the SVP of Organizational Development and will work closely to help provide solutions that include
the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that facilitate the professional development, continuous
learning, and retention of all team members including underwriting roles, brokerage roles, support roles, and
leadership. In context of fulfilling their duties the OD Specialist will continue to help advance Ryan Specialty’s
diversity and inclusion goals.

What will your job entail?

Essential Functions:

• Provides support around key strategic initiatives that include succession planning, mentorship, change management, building a talent pipeline, and development.

• Provides analytics to aide in solving business issues around such topics as turnover and development.

• Helps with the assessment of organizational needs and provides support in the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that facilitate continuous learning.

• Provides support in the administration of the Ryan Specialty Internship Program including interviewing, logistics, and program development.

• Work to support and liaison with Ryan Specialty University.

• Provide support in helping put together employee development plans.

• Supports change management efforts on large initiatives within the business.

• Helps support the business on talent, development, performance management, culture, and helping to identify solutions for issues preventing the business from achieving their goals and objectives.

• Supports the design and facilitation of training related to soft skills leadership, team building, and other relevant topics.

• Open to possibility of managing others (position may have direct reports).

Education/Experience/Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

• Minimum 3 years experience in OD or related role with demonstrated performance in analytics, project work, providing employee support, and recruiting.

• Ability to build positive, effective relationships throughout the organization.

• Experience in facilitation; program design preferred.

• Must have good people management skills with the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment in a fast-paced entrepreneurial culture.

• Experience providing support with change management and related initiatives preferred.

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field; related experience considered in lieu of education.

The target salary range for this position is $66,000.00 - $82,500.00 annually.

The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
