Lead the Climate Transition for Global Enterprises

Are you ready to influence boardroom decisions and guide Fortune 500 companies through the low-carbon economy transition? At ERM, the world’s leading sustainability consultancy, we help organizations embed climate strategy into their core business models. We are seeking a Partner – Corporate Sustainability & Climate Change (CS&CC) to join our North American leadership team and drive growth in one of our fastest-growing practices.

With a target of reaching $50 million in North American sales and double-digit annual growth, this is a unique opportunity to lead a high-impact practice.

What You'll Bring

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, science, business, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in consulting or corporate sustainability leadership.

  • Proven track record with Fortune 500 firms including oil and gas, chemical, mining, power, infrastructure, technology and/or manufacturing sectors.

  • Demonstrable success in delivering multi-million-dollar annual sales and winning strategic portfolios.

  • Expertise in climate strategy, carbon accounting, risk assessment, and disclosure frameworks (e.g., TCFD, CDP, SASB).

  • Strong business acumen and ability to engage senior executives on ESG priorities.

Preferred:

  • Recognized thought leader with established marketplace reputation.

  • Experience advising on net-zero and science-based target setting, decarbonization strategies, and investor engagement.

  • Ability to lead large-scale transformation programs and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand strategic client relationships across North America.

  • Originate and deliver high-impact climate advisory engagements, including:

    • Climate risk and opportunity assessments

    • Net-zero and science-based target setting

    • Decarbonization strategy and implementation

    • ESG disclosure and investor engagement

  • Drive commercial strategies to achieve significant revenue growth.

  • Collaborate with ERM’s global network to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Recruit, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams.

  • Ensure excellence in project execution, client satisfaction, and risk management.

For the Partner, Decarbonization Strategy & Implementation position, the anticipated annual base pay is $181,000 to $244,000 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, parental leave, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, AD&D insurance, 401(k) or RRSP/DPSP, and other applicable benefits to eligible employees.

Note: Bonuses, commissions, and other forms of additional compensation are not guaranteed and subject to the sole discretion of ERM and its policies and procedures.
