About the Position
The Partner Lead is an integral part of the Mid Market sales team. Our team is in build and rebuild mode and this role has the opportunity to make a huge impact on the team’s success. They must be capable of developing strong relationships with their clients, deeply understanding their clients marketing objectives, creating and executing on strategic business plans to achieve those objectives, and ultimately maximizing the business opportunity for their clients and Cardlytics.

The Partner Lead is responsible for owning and growing a book of business focused on existing Mid Market industry clients. Within the Partner Lead’s book of business, their key focus areas will be maintaining and creating new client and agency relationships, identifying and closing upsell opportunities, and managing annual renewals. They will also need to partner with internal stakeholders such as Analytics and Product to deliver effectively and efficiently on business plans and performance solutions. From a tactical standpoint, they will work in partnership with internal teams to ensure successful and accurate campaign implementation and contractual obligations are met.

You will:

  • Develop a business plan including strategies and tactics to expand new and existing business

  • Leverage your experience in sales to exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets

  • Generate a pipeline across advertiser verticals including Retail, Restaurant, and DTC

  • Uncover business problems and solve them with our ability to deliver on performance and ROI

  • Build effective relationships with brand-side stakeholders at all levels, becoming a trusted advisor

You have:

  • Digital advertising sales, with 3+ years of meeting and exceeding revenue targets

  • Leveraging CRM tools to create and manage a pipeline that is consistently updated and accurate

  • Data-driven selling, and you’re comfortable with business and media performance metrics

  • Influencing decisions up and across an organization through excellent listening, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills

Technical Environment

We primarily use macOS and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). While our preferred platform is macOS, we support both macOS and Windows. Familiarity with or willingness to work within this environment is required.
