Check out our Intro to Hex video and employee handbook to learn more about what it’s like to work at Hex.

About the role:

Hex is hiring its founding Partner Manager for the Systems Integrator (SI) partner segment. Our customers are rethinking how their teams work with data and AI, and many of them rely on SI partners to plan, implement and scale that change. We’re looking for someone to build an SI partner business that helps those customers succeed with Hex faster, and that turns those successes into a repeatable source of pipeline & customer value. You’ll decide which partners to bet on, recruit and enable them, and make them a core part of how Hex customers adopt, expand and succeed.

This is a building role. You’ll work across national firms and boutique data consultancies, starting from the outcomes customers need and working back to the partners best placed to deliver them. You’ll partner closely with our Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success and Marketing teams, and with our cloud and data platform partners. Your work will have a direct, measurable effect on customer outcomes and on Hex’s growth.

What you will do:

  • Build the SI program from the ground up. Define how Hex finds, tiers and invests in SI partners, and decide which firms get your time.

  • Find and qualify partners fast. Evaluate a broad set of SI opportunities, decide which to pursue and which to cut, and focus on the partners with the most upside.

  • Recruit and enable your core partners. Turn your best-fit SIs into active partners who bring Hex into their client work, build practices around it, and deliver successful implementations.

  • Write and run joint GTM plans. Build focused go-to-market plans with key partners, covering target accounts, joint offers, enablement and campaigns, and carry them out with Sales, Marketing and SE.

  • Generate pipeline and bookings. Own partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline and revenue, with clear targets and reporting.

  • Help close deals. Bring SIs into enterprise sales cycles early, help AEs with partner strategy on key accounts, and make co-selling a habit rather than an occasional event.

  • Make Hex easy to partner with. Shape the playbooks, enablement content and incentives that let SIs grow their business on Hex.

  • Inform the strategy. Share what you learn from partners and the field to guide Hex’s broader partner and GTM priorities.

About You:

  • You have 7+ years in partner management, alliances or channel roles, including time at a startup or other high-growth companies.

  • You’ve built a partner program from zero. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and know how to create structure where there is none.

  • You have a track record of generating pipeline and revenue through partners, and you can talk about it in numbers.

  • You understand how SIs make money and what makes them commit to a technology, and you have relationships across the global, national or boutique tiers.

  • You’re commercially sharp and good at prioritizing. You know which partners to bet on and when to walk away.

  • You work well across teams. AEs trust you on their deals, and partner leaders take your calls.

  • Bonus: experience in the data and analytics space, or relationships across the cloud and data platform partner ecosystems.

The on-target-earnings (OTE) for this role is: $177,000 - $236,500.

In addition to our unique culture, Hex proudly offers a competitive total rewards package, including but not limited to, market-benched salary & equity, comprehensive health benefits, and flexible paid time off.

The salary range shown may be a reflection of additional factors such as geographical location and skill ranges/levels we’re open to. Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process, taking into account factors like leaving room for growth, internal fairness & parity, your demonstrated skills, and the depth of your experience. Our Recruiting team will be able to provide more details during the interview process.

By submitting an application the candidate consents to the use of their personal information in accordance with the Hex Privacy policy: https://learn.hex.tech/docs/trust/privacy-policy.
