This role is for a PeopleSoft Change Management Consultant with expertise in organizational change management (OCM) and statewide PeopleSoft implementations. The consultant will focus on ensuring smooth adoption of the system by developing and executing change management strategies that address the needs of stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Change Management Strategy Development:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy tailored to the client project.

    • Conduct stakeholder assessments to identify key groups impacted by the transition to PeopleSoft.

    • Create a change impact analysis to assess organizational readiness and identify potential risks or resistance.

  • Communication and Engagement:

    • Design and implement communication plans to inform stakeholders about project goals, timelines, and benefits.

    • Develop messaging strategies to foster buy-in from state agencies and end-users.

    • Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and meetings to gather feedback and address concerns.

  • Training and Knowledge Transfer:

    • Design training programs and materials to prepare users for new PeopleSoft functionalities.

    • Deliver training sessions or coordinate with training teams to ensure effective knowledge transfer.

    • Provide ongoing support to end-users during the implementation process.

  • Change Adoption and Monitoring:

    • Develop metrics to measure change adoption, user engagement, and overall project success.

    • Monitor progress against change management goals and adjust strategies as needed.

    • Ensure alignment between technical implementation teams and business stakeholders.

  • Collaboration with Project Teams:

    • Work closely with functional, technical, and project management teams to align change management efforts with system implementation activities.

    • Act as a liaison between stakeholders, leadership, and the PeopleSoft development team.

    • Provide input on project timelines to ensure adequate time for change management activities.

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in organizational change management for large-scale ERP implementations, particularly PeopleSoft Financials or HCM.

  • Familiarity with statewide systems or similar public sector financial systems.

  • Strong knowledge of change management methodologies such as Prosci ADKAR or Kotter’s Change Model.

  • Experience conducting stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, and readiness evaluations.

  • Proficiency in creating communication plans, training materials, and adoption metrics.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with hybrid ERP solutions integrating legacy systems into modern platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

  • Strong understanding of PeopleSoft modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), or Commitment Control (KK).

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to manage resistance and foster collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Certifications such as Prosci Change Management Practitioner or Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) are highly desirable.
