Job Description:
mid-level, hands-on resource with 15–20 years of experience in Pharmacy domain data models would be a good fit. The engagement is expected to last 12-14 weeks, and work hours are flexible as long as deliverables are completed on time. Domain Background: • Strong pharmacy domain background with experience across both provider and payer side clients, given this engagement spans a Provider environment • Has led a pharmacy data modernization transformation before, from discovery through roadmap and implementation, in a client facing capacity • Comfortable stepping into an existing delivery team and carrying credibility with the client from day one
Core Responsibilities: • Discovery & Roadmap Leadership: Lead discovery for pharmacy data modernization initiatives, build the target state roadmap, and develop the implementation plan for execution • Enterprise Blueprinting: Design end to end target state architectures for core pharmacy systems and integration frameworks that support the roadmap • Regulatory Governance: Set architecture standards for processing pharmacy and health data under HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations
Required Technical Skills: • Healthcare Interoperability: Experience across acute care, primary care, PBM, or pharma R&D data ecosystems • Data & Cloud Fabric: Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks • NCPDP telecom standards, claims adjudication, formulary and benefit design logic • HL7/FHIR exposure where pharmacy data touches clinical systems
Experience: • 10+ years in pharmacy technology, prior architect title (not senior developer with architecture duties added on) • Big Four consulting background preferred • Comfortable presenting architecture decisions directly to VP/CFO level stakeholders
