PMO Services - Senior Manager (Program Management & Transformation)

Program management isn’t about managing projects.

It’s about creating clarity where others see complexity. It’s about connecting strategy to execution, bringing together multiple workstreams, anticipating obstacles before they become problems, and helping organizations accomplish what once felt impossible.

If you are passionate about delivering outcomes—not simply tracking milestones—naturally connect the dots across functions and people, challenge assumptions, earn the trust of leadership, and thrive in the middle of complex transformation, we’d love to meet you.

CFGI is looking for an experienced Program Manager to help our clients deliver some of their most complex initiatives while helping us continue building a world-class PMO Services practice.

What you might expect:

  • Lead complex client transformation programs from strategy through successful implementation.
  • Build and manage integrated program plans across multiple workstreams, organizations, vendors, stakeholders, risks, dependencies, governance structures, and business outcomes.
  • Orchestrate multiple concurrent workstreams while proactively managing cross-functional dependencies, risks, issues, and executive decision-making.
  • Partner with senior client leaders to translate strategic priorities into executable plans and measurable business outcomes.
  • Establish effective program governance and create visibility into decisions, risks, dependencies, progress, and next steps.
  • Integrate organizational change considerations into program delivery to support adoption and sustainable outcomes.
  • Influence stakeholders across levels and functions without relying on formal authority.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, steering committee materials, governance artifacts, and program communications that enable informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate across CFGI practices to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
  • Strengthen CFGI’s PMO methodologies, templates, and delivery practices by sharing lessons learned and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor project and program management professionals and contribute to execution excellence across the practice.
  • Support business development efforts by helping shape solutions, client conversations, and transformation approaches.

What you must have:

  • 10–12+ years of experience leading business or technology projects and programs in consulting or enterprise environments.
  • Several years of experience personally leading complex transformation programs from strategy through successful implementation.

What sets you apart:

  • Demonstrated experience orchestrating multiple concurrent workstreams with cross-functional and executive-level dependencies.
  • Experience building integrated program plans that connect workstreams, people, priorities, governance, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes.
  • Experience partnering with senior executives and business leaders to translate strategic priorities into executable transformation plans.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders across functions and levels and driving alignment without relying on formal authority.
  • Experience establishing and managing program governance, executive decision-making processes, risks, issues, and dependencies across complex initiatives.
  • Experience integrating organizational change management considerations into transformation delivery.
  • Experience developing executive presentations, steering committee materials, governance artifacts, and program communications for senior leadership.
  • Experience identifying complex delivery challenges, challenging assumptions, and proactively resolving issues before they affect program outcomes.
  • Experience contributing to program management methodologies, delivery standards, or practice improvement initiatives.

Nice to have:

  • Consulting experience delivering transformation programs across multiple clients or industries.
  • Experience supporting business development, solution development, or transformation scoping activities.
  • Experience mentoring project managers, program managers, or other delivery professionals.
  • Experience leading programs involving multiple third-party vendors or implementation partners.
  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or another relevant project or program management certification.

Who thrives here:

  • Brings clarity and structure to environments where priorities compete and ambiguity is high.
  • Connects strategy to execution and understands how decisions and dependencies affect the broader organization.
  • Demonstrates strong business judgment and anticipates risks before they become delivery issues.
  • Builds credibility with executives through sound judgment, transparency, and consistent execution.
  • Takes ownership, rolls up their sleeves, and improves how work gets done rather than simply administering a process.
  • Communicates complex program information in a clear, compelling way that enables leaders to make decisions with confidence.
  • Has a genuine passion for program management and a commitment to mentorship, continuous improvement, and execution excellence.
