As a Principal Account Manager here at Honeywell, you will leverage your extensive experience in managing strategic accounts and driving revenue growth to build and maintain strong customer relationships. You will identify new business opportunities, provide tailored solutions, and mentor account managers and sales teams, contributing significantly to the company's growth, customer satisfaction, and market leadership. 

You will report directly to our Director of Sales and work on a remote work schedule. 

We are considering remote candidates located across the U.S in the Eastern and Central time zones. There is no relocation offered on this position. 

This remote role reports directly to the Director of Sales for Fiplex, a rapidly growing business focused on delivering innovative in-building wireless communication and public safety connectivity solutions. As demand for reliable mission-critical communications continues to expand across commercial, industrial, and public sector markets, Fiplex is experiencing accelerated growth and investing heavily in expanding its distribution footprint. We are seeking a future-shaper, results-driven professional with a strong growth and hunter mindset who thrives on identifying new opportunities, building strategic channel relationships, and driving revenue expansion. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the next phase of growth for our distribution business while making a meaningful impact in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment. 

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for customer relationships 
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions 
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added solutions 
  • Proactively hunt for new business by identifying, pursuing, and converting new project opportunities in collaboration with distribution partners; this role is expected to generate net-new revenue, not solely manage existing accounts 
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction through effective account management 
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous growth 
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to account managers and sales teams 
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE 

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Account Management or Distribution Sales, with a proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth 
  • Strong knowledge of strategic account management and customer relationship building 
  • Expertise in developing and executing account plans, contract negotiations, Distribution Programs and identifying business growth opportunities 
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Ability to mentor and guide sales teams effectively 
  • Hunter and Challenger mindset

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $183,000 - $274,000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $183,000 - $274,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
