Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Consultant – ERP Domain to serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and senior business leaders. This role is responsible for leading complex business transformation engagements, shaping enterprise strategies, and driving ERP-enabled digital transformation initiatives across multiple industries.

The Principal Consultant partners with executive stakeholders to define transformation roadmaps, develop business cases, and align business objectives with ERP solutions. Working closely with ERP service lines, solution architects, and delivery teams, this individual ensures successful execution from strategy through implementation while cultivating long-term client relationships and identifying opportunities for business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesAI-Embedded Business Transformation
  • Define and lead strategies for embedding AI into core ERP business processes (Financials, SCM, HCM, Procurement, Manufacturing).

  • Identify and prioritize high-impact AI augmentation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve decision-making.

  • Partner with executive stakeholders to design AI-augmented operating models and transformation roadmaps that deliver measurable ROI.

Executive Advisory
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and senior business leaders.

  • Facilitate executive workshops, visioning sessions, and strategic planning engagements.

  • Develop enterprise transformation strategies aligned with business objectives.

  • Lead the creation of business and technology transformation roadmaps.

  • Provide executive-level guidance on digital transformation, operating model evolution, and organizational change.

Solution Leadership
  • Lead current-state assessments of business processes, applications, and enterprise operating models.

  • Design future-state operating models that improve business performance and organizational effectiveness.

  • Develop business cases, investment analyses, and value realization strategies.

  • Collaborate with ERP service lines, solution architects, and delivery teams to translate strategy into successful implementation.

  • Ensure solution recommendations leverage ERP Domain capabilities and industry best practices.

Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and key decision-makers.

  • Serve as the executive engagement lead throughout the consulting lifecycle.

  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and introduce additional ERP solutions and consulting services.

  • Support business development efforts, including proposals, executive presentations, and strategic pursuits.

  • Guide clients through enterprise transformation and organizational change initiatives.

Thought Leadership
  • Monitor emerging industry trends, ERP innovations, and market developments to advise clients on future opportunities.

  • Conduct industry benchmarking to identify performance improvement opportunities and leading practices.

  • Develop, refine, and apply consulting methodologies, frameworks, and accelerators that improve delivery quality and consistency.

  • Contribute to thought leadership through executive presentations, white papers, webinars, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.

  • Mentor consulting teams and promote innovation across transformation engagements.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.

  • 15+ years of management consulting, enterprise transformation, or technology advisory experience.

  • Extensive experience leading ERP transformation initiatives across ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM, or CX.

  • Demonstrated success advising C-level executives on enterprise strategy and digital transformation.

  • Strong expertise in business process transformation, operating model design, and organizational change.

  • Experience developing executive business cases, transformation roadmaps, and value realization plans.

  • Exceptional executive communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to influence executive decision-making and lead complex consulting engagements.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ERP transformation programs across multiple industries.

  • Prior experience with a global consulting firm or systems integrator.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, digital strategy, and business transformation methodologies.

  • Experience leading global, cross-functional consulting teams.

  • ERP certifications are preferred.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
