C.H Robinson is seeking a Principal Analytics Consultant to lead high-impact, customer-facing analytics. You’ll play a critical part in helping us differentiate through insight; ensuring our commercial teams don’t just have access to data but know how to use it to win. You’ll help shape how analytics shows up in the moments that matter most: customer conversations, strategic trade-offs, and growth decisions. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a technical problem solver who transforms complex data into clear, actionable insights, communicates those insights through effective storytelling, and builds strong relationships that drive meaningful business decisions.

C.H. Robinson moves the world’s freight. We’re the industry leader in lean AI-powered supply chains that help our customers move with precision, efficiency, and confidence. Our North American Surface Transportation (NAST) Customer-Facing Analytics team turns that advantage into smarter signals, prescriptive insights, and scalable analytics solutions that accelerate customer growth and fuel commercial success.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate complex, multi-source data (internal + external) into crisp stories, insights, and recommendations that accelerate customer growth, retention, and wallet share.
  • Embed analytics at the front of the sales cycle to raise win rates; integrate insights into QBRs, strategic reviews, and value narratives.
  • Build dashboards, indexes, scorecards, and repeatable playbooks that move teams from defensive reporting to offensive engagement.
  • Serve as a front-line liaison across customers, account teams, and analytics, translating business questions into analytical solutions and product enhancements.
  • Capture the voice of the customer, prioritize enhancements, and contribute to product strategy that reflects market needs and emerging best practices.
  • Deliver workshops, demos, and training, and curate “what to use when” libraries, case studies, and best practices.
  • Combine internal ops data with industry signals (e.g., DAT, FTR, ACT, Statista) to craft market perspectives and thematic narratives customers can act on.
  • Engage with strategic and high-potential customers and participate in industry forums as a C.H. Robinson analytics voice.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years in analytics, decision science, consulting, or insights roles.
  • 2+ years’ experience delivering insights that influence deals, renewals, or account growth.
  • 4+ years’ experience with data modeling concepts, BI practices, and scalability (tools-agnostic; e.g., SQL/PowerBI/Python/modern BI a plus).
  • Familiarity with supply chain or transportation data.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead complex initiatives, balance both speed and rigor, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Values a diverse and inclusive work environment.

We will review applications for this role on an ongoing basis and encourage all interested candidates to apply at their earliest convenience.
