About the position

The Principal Product Manager for AgileSec is responsible for defining and executing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the AgileSec product line. This role requires deep expertise in cryptographic security, machine identity management, and SaaS/on-prem hybrid solutions. The Principal Product Manager will drive AgileSec’s evolution as the central cryptographic intelligence platform, ensuring it delivers innovative, scalable, and compliant solutions that address the needs of enterprise customers and strategic partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Product Vision & Strategy:

Establish and communicate a compelling vision for AgileSec, aligning with company strategic objectives and the evolving landscape of cryptographic security, machine identity governance, and compliance (e.g., FedRAMP, PQC readiness).

  • Roadmap Ownership:

Develop and maintain AgileSec’s product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives such as unified sensor architecture, advanced analytics, multi-tenancy, and seamless integration with Keyfactor Command and Cipher Insights.

  • Lifecycle Management:

Oversee the AgileSec product lifecycle from ideation through launch and continuous improvement, ensuring timely, high-quality releases for both SaaS and on-prem deployments. Lead the transition from POC to production, addressing friction points and supporting enablement motions.

  • Market & Customer Insights:

Conduct deep market research and engage with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to identify emerging trends (e.g., PQC, SAST, CI/CD integration), competitive dynamics, and evolving customer needs.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership:

Collaborate with engineering, design, documentation, support, and go-to-market teams to deliver cohesive, customer-centric solutions. Champion the use of dedicated Confluence spaces and Zendesk for AgileSec documentation and support resources.

  • Requirements & Execution:

Translate strategic goals into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Guide development teams to deliver features such as cryptographic asset discovery, policy enforcement, and advanced analytics.

  • Performance & Optimization:

Monitor AgileSec’s performance using data analytics and customer feedback. Drive iterative improvements, focusing on security, scalability, and user experience.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:

Serve as the primary point of contact for AgileSec, providing regular updates to executive leadership, field teams, and strategic customers.

  • Mentorship & Team Development:

Mentor product managers and cross-functional contributors, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in product management for security, SaaS, or enterprise software.
  • Deep understanding of cryptographic technologies, machine identity management, and agile methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and data analytics platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (MS, MBA, or related).
  • Certified Product Manager (CPM) or equivalent.
  • Experience with FedRAMP, PQC, SAST, or CI/CD pipeline integrations.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI best practices and technical documentation strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive SaaS and on-prem product launches and migrations.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 10% travel for customer, partner, and team engagements.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
