About the RoleSureify is seeking a Principal Product Manager to serve as a high-level individual contributor. This is a "Super IC" role designed for a seasoned product leader who prefers deep-diving into complex domains and driving massive strategic impact without the overhead of people management.
You will be the functional architect and strategist for our LifetimeACQUIRE product, coordinating with other sales-related product development areas and our CoreCONNECT platform team.
You'll engage directly with life and annuity carriers, implementation partners, product engineering, and product design to surface and validate needs, and construct and implement the product roadmap.
What You'll Do- Strategic Impact: Define the long-term roadmap for the LifetimeACQUIRE product, as part of Sureify’s broader product development for the life and annuity new business lifecycle. Ensure the product provides a competitive edge for carriers.
- Vision & Roadmapping: Define how the LifetimeACQUIRE product helps carriers drive new business sales through all channels, through web, mobile, AI, and custom digital experiences on top of a flexible, extensible API layer.
- Evangelism: Promote the product by working with marketing, sales, implementation partners, and potential customers.
- Voice of the Customer: Engage deeply with life and annuity carriers and distributors to understand the friction points in the current L&A sales ecosystem and how Sureify can solve them.
- Feature Specification: Author clear, actionable specs for complex workflows that account for high configurability requirements.
- Product Delivery: Partner closely with engineering to build a high-performance, scalable product and API layer. You’ll ensure the product is "developer-friendly" for both internal professional services teams, external systems integrators, and carrier staff.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Align internal stakeholders on our strategy and roadmap. Partner with product engineering to build, with professional services to ensure the product is easily deployable in the field, and with sales to help close customers.
- Product Management Experience: 5+ years of product management experience in a B2B enterprise SaaS environment. You've owned a product area end-to-end and shipped meaningful features independently.
- The "Shape" of a Leader: You are a "Product Architect" (strong in Customer Insight and Strategy) who knows how to "Build" (strong in Execution).
- Product Leadership: You’ve owned a product within an enterprise software market with high-touch direct sales.
- Enterprise Complexity: Experience in a highly concentrated, enterprise market (Insurance, Fintech, or Healthtech) where software must be highly configurable and integrated by 3rd parties.
- API-First Mindset: You understand that an API is the product. You have experience defining technical requirements for developers and system integrators.
- Collaborative Working Style: You work well with engineering, design, and customer-facing teams. You communicate clearly, follow through on commitments, and make the people around you more effective.
- Based in the US/Americas: Ability to work effectively with US-based carriers and time zones.
- Life/Annuity or Insurance Experience: Familiarity with the life insurance sales process, distribution channels, underwriting, or carrier operations is a meaningful advantage.
- B2B2C SaaS Experience: Experience with products configured and deployed by enterprise customers but used by consumers.
- Digital Sales or eApp Experience: Prior experience with e-application, quoting, or digital needs-analysis tools in insurance or financial services.
