Position Overview

We are seeking an internal candidate with hands-on procurement, supply chain, business operations, or manufacturing operations experience to strengthen procurement cost control, process compliance, and cross-functional execution. This role supports the Price Committee, evaluates purchasing documentation and commercial information, tracks action items, and helps improve transparency and operating discipline across the business.

This is a governance, analysis, and coordination role—not a routine buyer or purchasing execution position. Employees with strong operational judgment and the ability to learn procurement controls are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Price Committee meetings, prepare review materials, document decisions, and follow up on action-item closure.
  • Review purchase requests, supplier quotations, bid comparisons, and approval packages for completeness, consistency, and adherence to company procedures.
  • Analyze quotation differences, historical prices, cost drivers, and commercial terms; identify opportunities for cost control and process improvement.
  • Check alignment among approved quotations, purchase orders, contracts, and supporting pricing evidence; flag exceptions for resolution.
  • Partner with Procurement, Operations, Finance, Logistics, Warehouse, and other stakeholders to resolve documentation gaps and workflow bottlenecks.
  • Maintain supplier pricing records, review trackers, KPI dashboards, and audit-ready supporting documentation.
  • Identify procurement-related cost, process, and compliance risks; recommend practical corrective actions and escalate material issues as appropriate.
Qualifications

Required / Strongly Preferred

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain operations, manufacturing operations, business operations, cost control, or related roles; equivalent internal experience will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of purchasing or operational workflows, cross-functional approvals, supplier coordination, or cost management.
  • Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to interpret commercial and operational data.
  • Ability to organize meetings, communicate clearly, follow up persistently, and drive issue resolution across teams.
  • Sound judgment, integrity, and willingness to challenge incomplete information professionally.

Preferred / Can Be Developed in the Role

  • Experience with RFQs, supplier quotations, competitive bidding, contracts, or purchase order processes.
  • ERP/SAP experience; experience building reports, trackers, or KPI dashboards.
  • Background in automotive, battery, energy storage, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; relevant practical experience may be considered.
  • Mandarin-English bilingual capability is a plus, not a requirement.
What Makes a Strong Internal Candidate

A proactive employee who understands how work gets done, can connect operational needs with sound purchasing controls, communicates across departments, and follows issues through to closure. Prior experience in a dedicated compliance position is not required.

Internal Application

Interested employees are encouraged to contact HR through the internal recruitment process. Application steps, eligibility, and timing will be communicated by HR.
