What is the role where you will add value?
Procurement Manager-Indirects
The Procurement Manager – Indirects is responsible for the development and execution of category strategies across functional spend areas, including HR, IT, Insurance, Marketing, and Professional Services.
The role operates within a centrally led procurement model, supporting CPD as the primary focus, while contributing to cross-divisional initiatives, including Healthcare.
The position manages a global spend portfolio (~$60M, majority in the USA) and plays a key role in driving enterprise value, supplier optimization, and procurement maturity across indirect categories.
What will you do?
Category Management & Strategy
- Develop and implement category strategies across assigned indirect spend areas
- Identify and drive enterprise-wide opportunities for cost savings, standardisation, and supplier consolidation
- Partner with Procurement leadership to align with central procurement frameworks and priorities
- Leverage internal and external expertise to identify innovative solutions and incremental value opportunities across categories
Strategic Sourcing & Value Delivery
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives (RFPs, negotiations, supplier selection)
- Deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and value creation initiatives
- Build and manage a pipeline of procurement opportunities
Supplier Management
- Manage key supplier relationships across functional categories
- Drive supplier performance improvements (cost, service, quality)
- Identify and mitigate commercial and supply risks
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with global and regional stakeholders across:
- HR
- IT
- Finance
- Marketing
- Other functional areas
- Translate business needs into procurement strategies and sourcing plans
- Act as a trusted advisor on supplier selection and cost optimisation
Cross-Divisional & Enterprise Collaboration
- Support CPD-wide and cross-divisional initiatives, including Healthcare
- Identify and drive synergies across divisions
- Contribute to enterprise-level category alignment and leverage
- Partner with Genstar and relevant stakeholders to identify and support cross-portfolio (Portco) aggregation and value creation opportunities
Procurement Governance & Execution
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies and processes
- Support contract lifecycle management and compliance
- Maintain data quality and reporting discipline
Value Tracking & Pipeline Visibility
- Track and report savings, cost avoidance, and value delivery
- Provide visibility of initiatives into the central procurement pipeline
- Support prioritization of highest-value opportunities across the organization
The compensation range for this position will be $120k-$130k plus 10% Target Bonus
