You lead a team of procurement specialists for a specific business unit or region and serve as the single point of contact in procurement for local business leaders. In this role, you also manage interactions between business units or spend areas and stakeholders at the local level, collaborate with global/regional spend areas, business unit leads and across manufacturing, supply chain and commercial business stakeholders, and ensure the local implementation of regional or global projects.
How you will contribute
As the single point of contact, you will support the interactions between business units or spend areas, business unit stakeholders and specific project teams. In addition, you will deliver on the procurement process through effective management of procurement specialists;, take the lead in problem solving for supply and service issues, own the full sourcing activity for a local spend in partnership with regional sourcing teams, ensure regulatory compliance for all processes in scope, and manage local implementation-including service delivery, productivity and cash mobilization-of regional or global projects and agreements.

What you need to know about this position:
The Procurement Manager will lead day-to-day purchasing operations of new projects, materials management, and operational vendor execution across manufacturing facilities. This role focuses on driving process efficiency, securing timely delivery of raw and packaging materials, managing purchase orders Leadtime, resolving operational supply bottlenecks, and maintaining strict compliance with organizational and trade regulations.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
  • Operational Vendor Management: Monitor supplier performance, lead times. Serve as the primary operational contact to resolve supply delays, delivery shortfalls, and invoicing/vendor code discrepancies and meet the ATO of all new projects.
  • Supply Continuity & Risk Mitigation: Manage stock coverage, track material incoming dates, and implement contingency plans-such as secondary supplier allocation-when primary suppliers encounter delivery bottlenecks.
  • Team Supervision & Operational Scaffolding: Lead, coach, and supervise a team of procurement specialists, assigning clear operational responsibilities across manufacturing sites and operational projects.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning, Finance/Treasury, Quality, and CS&L team to align payment schedules, clear overdue accounts, and prevent production downtime.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Direct and mentor a team of 2 procurement specialists, fostering capability building, talent development, and a high-performance culture within a matrixed environment.
  • Financial & Value Optimization: Deliver cash generation and total cost of ownership optimization through advanced negotiation strategies, should-cost modeling, and competitive bidding.
  • Change Management & Innovation: Integrate market intelligence, sustainability initiatives, and digital solutions into sourcing strategies, driving procurement transformation and long-term value creation.

Education / Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Job specific requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in Procurement, within the Food, FMCG.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, high-value procurement portfolios across multiple sites.
  • Expertise in strategic category management, enterprise risk management, advanced financial modeling (TCO, Pareto analysis, scenario planning), and senior stakeholder management.
