Summary:

In this role, you will support and train providers to utilize the Operational Database (ODB) data to help manage operations, evaluate relative performance from a staffing and cost perspective. You will also interpret ODB data and identify potential areas of opportunity or performance improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage provider accounts by being point-person for provider support and developing provider relationships.
  • Work with providers to advance levels of data quality, use of data, and overall engagement.
  • Identify appropriate top performing and most improved providers, draft ODB case studies, and coordinate opportunities for provider to share with their peers.
  • Support new provider onboarding process.
  • Facilitate development of new ODB program deliverables to support provider needs.
  • Collaborate within a team to support providers by identifying and helping achieve their goals, preparing and presenting data insights, enhancing organizational engagements, and mitigating risks.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to support the continuous development and enhancement of the ODB.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Finance, Healthcare, or Business Operations preferred.
  • 2 or more year of relevant experience in healthcare or a blend of healthcare experience and knowledge of hospital operations required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to a variety of audiences required.
  • Proficiency with ODB and/or ACTION OI or a comparative health care operational database product preferred.
  • Consulting and operational experience in a hospital setting, including developing recommendations for the C-suite and senior executives a plus.
  • Strong strategic, analytic, critical thinking skills and ability to identify short and long-term opportunities and challenges highly preferred.
  • Experience developing recommendations and collaborating with all levels of hospital leadership to interpret hospital operations data highly preferred.
  • Experience navigating and mining hospital information systems including payroll, General Ledger and Electronic Health Record is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
