Job Description

As the Product Data Specialist, you will manage and maintain product data across key business systems that support the House of Rohl U.S. product portfolio. In this role, you will ensure product information is accurate, organized, and updated across platforms including SAP, Salsify, and related marketing and reporting systems.

You will support the full product lifecycle process, including the setup of new products, updates to existing products, and management of product discontinuations and obsolescence. Your work will help ensure product data flows accurately across internal systems and digital channels, including e-commerce platforms.

You will also support the product team through monthly reporting and data analysis, including development of the Vitality Index, which compares product forecasts against actual sales performance. Using tools such as Excel and QlikView, you will analyze product and sales data to create reports and insights that help inform product and business decisions.

This role works closely with cross-functional partners across product management, marketing, sales, IT, and operations to ensure product data processes run smoothly and efficiently.

POSITION LOCATION: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of a Fortune Brands office location. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, IL, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness, and recreation.

What you will be doing:

  • Maintain and manage product data across core systems including SAP and Salsify, ensuring product information is accurate and up to date.
  • Support the product lifecycle process, including setup of new products, updates to existing SKUs, and management of product discontinuations and obsolescence.
  • Ensure product data is properly maintained and distributed across systems supporting e-commerce and digital channels.
  • Coordinate product data updates across teams and systems to ensure changes move smoothly through required workflows and approvals.
  • Prepare monthly reporting for the product team, including development and maintenance of the Vitality Index to evaluate product performance against forecasts.
  • Analyze product and sales data using Excel and QlikView to support reporting, forecasting, and product performance analysis.
  • Develop reports and dashboards that help teams understand product performance and sales trends.
  • Support ad hoc data analysis and reporting requests from product, marketing, and leadership teams.
  • Maintain forecasting tools and assist with analysis of sales and inventory data to support product planning.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product data processes, reporting workflows, and data accuracy across systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product data management, business analytics, or related roles.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Experience working with product information management (PIM/PXM) platforms such as Salsify.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with data visualization or reporting tools such as QlikView, Power BI, or Tableau

 

Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $55,000 USD - $85,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
