We’re hiring a Product Engineer to own internal process optimization using AI and automation. You’ll sit on the AI team reporting to our AI Product Lead, working across every function at FieldPulse – Customer Success, Implementation, Support, Sales, Account Management, and Recruiting – to find high-impact opportunities and deliver working solutions.

You’ll gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders, architect AI-powered workflows, and own them from concept through deployment. You’ll need to operate in ambiguous, loosely defined problem spaces – scoping your own work, building it out, and proving its value. If you’re an engineer who’s energized by solving real business problems with people, not just shipping tickets, this role was built for you.

Where You'll Work:

  • Full-time, in-office at our headquarters in Dallas, TX.
  • You’ll be right in the heart of the action, surrounded by a team of passionate, high-energy individuals who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

  • AI-powered internal workflows that reduce manual effort across Customer Success, Support, Sales, and Account Management
  • RAG pipelines and knowledge retrieval systems that give internal teams fast, accurate access to the information they need
  • Process discovery and requirements gathering – sitting with teams, mapping their workflows, and identifying where AI can eliminate friction
  • Internal tooling and automations that connect LLMs to real business processes – not demos, working systems
  • Evaluation frameworks and KPIs for every initiative you own – you define what success looks like and prove it
Responsibilities
  • Identify and prioritize AI and automation opportunities across internal teams, building your own roadmap of high-impact projects
  • Gather requirements in loosely defined problem spaces – translate what teams need into scoped, buildable solutions
  • Design, build, and deploy AI-powered workflows and tools end to end – from architecture through implementation and rollout
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders so they understand what’s being built, why, and what it means for them
  • Define and track your own KPIs – show measurable value and keep momentum across concurrent projects
  • Stay current on LLM capabilities, RAG architectures, and AI tooling – and know what’s production-ready vs. hype

What We're Looking For:

  • 1–3 years of software engineering experience (front-end, full-stack, or adjacent technical roles)
  • Strong technical foundation – you can reason about system architecture, APIs, and data pipelines, and you’re comfortable getting hands-on when needed
  • Genuine interest in transitioning from engineering into product-facing, people-oriented work
  • Exceptional communication skills – you can take complex technical information and distill it into language non-technical users understand and trust
  • Comfort with ambiguity – you can operate in undefined problem spaces, gather your own requirements, and build things out independently
  • Self-directed and accountable – you define your own KPIs, show value proactively, and keep projects moving without constant oversight
  • Preferred Experience
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or RAG pipelines
  • Background in SaaS, field service, or B2B software
  • Experience working cross-functionally with non-technical teams (CS, Sales, Operations)
  • Familiarity with AI developer tools (Claude, OpenAI, vector databases, eval frameworks)

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

  • Impactful, Fast-Paced Startup Culture: Work on exciting projects that truly move the needle.
  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical insurance, plus dental & vision benefits to keep you covered.
  • Lunches Provided Monday–Friday: Delicious meals on us to fuel your day.
  • Health & Wellness Perks: Memberships to keep you feeling your best.
  • 401(k) Plan: Secure your future while you grow with us.
  • Clear Path for Growth: Transparent career progression, professional development, and promotion opportunities.
  • Paid Parental Leave: Support for you and your family when it matters most.
