About Ping Identity:

At Ping Identity, we believe in making digital experiences both secure and seamless for all users, without compromise. We call this digital freedom. And it's not just something we provide our customers. It's something that inspires our company. People don't come here to join a culture that's built on digital freedom. They come to cultivate it.

Our intelligent, cloud identity platform lets people shop, work, bank, and interact wherever and however they want. Without friction. Without fear.

While protecting digital identities is at the core of our technology, protecting individual identities is at the core of our culture. We champion every identity. One of our core values, Respect Individuality, reminds us to celebrate differences so you are empowered to bring your authentic self to work.

We're headquartered in Denver, Colorado and we have offices and employees around the globe. We serve the largest, most demanding enterprises worldwide, including more than half of the Fortune 100. At Ping Identity, we're changing the way people and businesses think about cybersecurity, digital experiences, and identity and access management.

As the Product Manager for Developer Experience, you will be the champion for the developers building on top of Ping’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform. Your mission is to abstract the complexities of identity standards into a seamless, secure, and intuitive developer experience across web and mobile platforms. You will bridge the gap between deep identity architecture and elegant code, ensuring that "Time to First Integration" is as fast and frictionless as possible.

In this role, you will pioneer both human and agent-first engineering for identity. You will ensure our SDKs, APIs, and tooling are optimized not just for human engineers, but for autonomous AI agents and code assistants executing end-to-end integration workflows. You will bridge the gap between deep identity architecture and elegant code, ensuring that "Time to First Integration" is fast and frictionless.

What You'll Do:
  • Drive Developer Adoption:  Own the product strategy and roadmap for Ping’s Orchestration SDK across Web, iOS, Android, and Hybrid frameworks, turning complex IAM capabilities into highly adoptable developer tools.
  • Champion Developer Experience (DX):  Partner with the technical documentation and developer relations teams to deliver world-class documentation, quick-start guides, and sample apps that developers love to use.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration:  Work closely with core Engineering and PM teams across the organization to ensure the SDK seamlessly exposes new identity capabilities and aligns with broader platform releases.
  • Gather Developer Insights:  Actively engage with customers, partner engineers, and the open-source community to gather technical requirements, map developer journeys, and translate feedback into a prioritized backlog.
  • Evangelize the Product:  Write technical blog posts, participate in developer forums, and create content that highlights SDK capabilities and modern integration patterns.
  • Execute the Vision:  Manage the product lifecycle from concept to release, maintaining a well-groomed backlog, defining clear success metrics (e.g., SDK adoption, integration time), and ruthlessly prioritizing high-impact work.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve:  Continuously monitor evolving app development trends (e.g., Swift/Kotlin updates, cross-platform frameworks like Flutter/React Native) and next-generation identity standards to keep Ping’s SDK cutting-edge.
  • Incorporate AI-Focused Mindset:  Seek to make mobile and web app integration more effective by staying ahead on AI-related trends (e.g., Agent Skills) as well as broader developer experience how that relates to agents and developers.
  • Contribute to wider developer-experience:  Constantly assess how to improve Ping’s developer-experience holistically, contributing to wider forums and championing original ideas.

What You Bring:

  • Technical Fluency & Engineering Roots:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. You have hands-on experience building software and can speak the same language as the developers using your SDK.
  • Identity Domain Expertise:  A solid understanding of modern identity and security protocols, specifically OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and FIDO/WebAuthn.
  • Strong Developer Empathy:  A keen product sense for "clean code" and developer ergonomics. You understand what makes an API intuitive, a library reliable, and documentation actually useful.
  • AI-Native Development Experience:  Experience using AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar as part of day-to-day engineering or product workflows. Understands how modern AI coding agents interact with SDKs, APIs, documentation, and developer tooling, and can identify opportunities to optimize products for both human developers and AI agents.
  • Exceptional Communication:  Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex architectural concepts into clear product requirements for engineering, and compelling narratives for external stakeholders.
  • Strategic Execution:  Experience defining and executing a product roadmap based on market trends, competitive analysis, and customer feedback while managing a product backlog in an agile environment, balancing immediate developer friction points with long-term platform scalability.
You have an Advantage if:
  • You have experience using client side SDKs and REST APIs
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • Deep understanding of Identity and access management standards
  • Agentic Framework Familiarity:  Exposure to or strong interest in emerging agentic infrastructure tools, AI software development loops (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot Workspace), and standard machine-to-machine interaction protocols like MCP.

Salary Range: CAD 108,160–162,240
