A day in the life
- Lead market and competitive intelligence for assigned product portfolio
- Run and evolve the win/loss program, turning insights into clear recommendations
- Develop and maintain buyer personas, ICPs, and customer journey maps
- Partner deeply with Product to influence roadmap priorities, packaging, and differentiation
- Support client research initiatives, including interviews, surveys, and feedback analysis
- Act as an internal advocate for the client, ensuring insights are reflected in strategy and messaging
- Deliver concise, actionable insights to Product, Product Marketing, Sales, and Exec teams
- Support evolving priorities and cross-functional initiatives as needed to advance product marketing and business outcomes.

What success looks like
- Your product line has a clear, current, and trusted picture of the market, buyer, and competitive landscape
- Product decisions for your line reflect insights you sourced and surfaced
- PMs and stakeholders on your product line proactively loop you in rather than treating you as a request queue
- Competitive battlecards and personas for your line are up to date and actually used
- Insights do not sit in a folder; they show up in roadmap discussions and GTM plans
We are looking for someone who brings
- 1-3 years of experience in product marketing, market research, strategy, or a related field
- SaaS experience preferred; nonprofit or association experience is a strong plus
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to accelerate research, sharpen competitive analysis, and raise the bar on output quality
- Genuine curiosity about buyers, markets, and competitive dynamics
- Clear written and verbal communication; you can turn a messy interview into a sharp insight
- Comfort managing multiple projects and priorities without dropping the ball
- Confidence contributing your perspective in cross-functional conversations, even early in your career
- Hands-on experience or eagerness to learn tools such as Salesforce, Asana, Klue, Clozd, Gong, Pendo, Claude and Microsoft Co-Pilot
