Job Description:

Job Summary

insightsoftware is seeking a Product Owner to join the BI reporting capabilities powered by Logi Symphony within the Equity product organization. This role is responsible for assisting with the product strategy, requirements, and delivery of self-service reporting, dashboards, and data visualization features within Certent Equity Management. You will serve as the connective tissue between the Equity product organization and the Logi platform — ensuring that embedded analytics capabilities meet the needs of equity plan administrators, HR teams, finance stakeholders, and participants. This is a hands-on role requiring both technical familiarity with embedded analytics platforms and a strong understanding of equity data and reporting use cases.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Assist with the roadmap for embedded analytics and self-service reporting capabilities within Certent Equity Management, leveraging the Logi Symphony platform

  • Partner with the Product Manager to define feature priorities based on customer demand, competitive positioning, platform capabilities, and technical dependencies

  • Own the backlog, including sprint prioritization and engineering ceremonies

  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and the Logi platform team to identify capability gaps and deliver best-in-class analytics experiences

Requirements Definition & Documentation

  • Write comprehensive PRDs with detailed functional specifications, data model requirements, user workflows, visualization standards, and acceptance criteria

  • Define report and dashboard templates, data set configurations, and user permission models appropriate for equity data

  • Conduct technical review sessions with engineering and the Logi platform team to validate requirements and surface integration risks

  • Ensure reporting capabilities meet data privacy, security, and access control requirements for sensitive equity and compensation data

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the primary liaison between the Equity product team and the Logi Symphony platform team at insightsoftware

  • Partner with Financial Reporting and Admin Reporting Product Owners to ensure data availability, consistency, and alignment across reporting surfaces

  • Work with Product Marketing on analytics feature positioning and release communications

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead discovery sessions with equity administrators, HR, and finance stakeholders to identify analytics and reporting requirements

  • Conduct demos and training on self-service reporting and dashboard capabilities for customers and internal teams

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 1+ years in product management or product owner roles, preferably in B2B SaaS environments

  • 2+ years experience working with embedded analytics, business intelligence, or data visualization platforms

  • Proven track record of delivering reporting or analytics product features from concept to launch

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities across both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Technical & Domain Knowledge

  • Familiarity with embedded analytics or BI platforms (Logi Symphony, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)

  • Understanding of data modeling, report building, and dashboard design for enterprise SaaS applications

  • Working knowledge of equity compensation concepts and data, including plan structures, participant transactions, and award types

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management frameworks

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required

Preferred Qualifications

  • CEP (Certified Equity Professional) certification is a plus

  • Hands-on experience configuring or administering Logi Symphony or a comparable embedded analytics platform

  • Experience with equity administration platforms, such as Certent Equity Management

  • Familiarity with data access and governance requirements in financial services or HR technology
