Do you enjoy breaking down technical concepts and information? Are you motivated by teaching others? If so, Yaskawa is currently seeking a Product Training Engineer. This position is located in Waukegan, IL and will work a hybrid schedule with three days a week in the office. The primary job responsibilities are to provide practical and personal service to customers by developing, conducting and coordinating professional technical training sessions, in-house, online and at customer facilities. Serve as a technical expert with the ability to answer product questions, provide sales support, provide support for equipment start-ups and diagnose and repair equipment. Use your engineering talents to create real-world training programs that will benefit real-world engineers.

    Qualifications: 

    • BS Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, or equivalent related work experience.
    • Minimum of two years of experience in related field designing training curriculum, training delivery and/or explaining technical concepts.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities including technical writing and presentation skills, highly organized with strong analytical skills.
    • Ability to be a Yaskawa brand ambassador and provide technical instruction in the area of Servo Applications, Installation and Start Ups, Drive Application Programming and Hands on Troubleshooting for Drives. 
    • Familiarity with various computer software, word processing, spreadsheets and graphics.
