This hybrid role integrates program coordination, operational best practices, and prospective patient engagement, requiring a deep understanding of healthcare workflows and patient navigation.

This position plays a crucial role in:

  • Working with prospective patients through a complex treatment decision process, from initial inquiry through scheduling, treatment, and post-care follow-up.
  • Assist in coaching launch manager, clinical account managers, and market development managers on best practices to optimize program operations, ensuring smooth patient onboarding and workflow efficiency.
  • Serving as one of the key strategic partners to treatment centers, providing insights into barriers, operational bottlenecks, and patient engagement trends.
  • Collaborating across internal teams—including Global Marketing, Market Development, and Clinical Sales—to enhance prospective patient engagement strategies, address operational concerns, and improve prospective patient experience.

This is not a quota-carrying sales role, but annual bonuses based on company-wide or Commercial team objectives may be awarded.

Experience Level:

This is an intermediate to senior-level role for professionals with experience in healthcare coordination, patient engagement, and program operations. The role has the potential for up to 20% travel if necessary.

  • Requires a strong understanding of healthcare terminology, hospital operations, and sales principles related to patient engagement.
  • Conducts increasingly complex assignments under moderate supervision, with some latitude for independent judgment.
  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Engagement & High-Touch Patient Navigation

  • Serve as a trusted potential patient program liaison, educating individuals on treatment options with focused ultrasound, eligibility, and next steps using a structured, script-driven approach.
  • Proactively engage patients with education.
  • Work closely with launch manager, clinical account managers and market development managers to ensure seamless integration of potential patients into treatment programs.
  • Build rapport with internal and external customers to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Actively monitor and report patient bottlenecks in the treatment process, providing actionable insights to Market Development, Sales, and Business teams.

2. Program Coordination & Operational Support

  • Educate customer facing internal stakeholders on best practices for potential patient engagement and workflow optimization.
  • Provide ongoing optimization to enhance program efficiency and potential patient engagement.
  • Schedule potential patient encounters with the Connect team, ensure documentation accuracy, and facilitate smooth handoffs of appropriate knowledge between potential patients and hospital program teams.
  • Provide advice to other internal stakeholders on how to streamline operational processes within treatment centers, ensuring a frictionless experience for both potential patients and hospital teams.

3. Data Management & Follow-Up

  • Maintain real-time documentation in CRM systems, tracking each patient’s progress through the treatment pipeline.
  • Conduct timely follow-ups to optimize engagement and understand roadblocks
  • Provide trend reporting and insights on potential patient flow, program engagement metrics, and treatment decisions, all in generalized (non-patient specific) form.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Work closely with Clinical Account Managers and Marketing to refine potential patient communication strategies and improve engagement.
  • Provide feedback to Market Development and Sales teams to address operational challenges and refine messaging.
  • Assist in developing program playbooks and best practices for treatment centers to enhance efficiency.

5. Consultation & Program Optimization with External Customers

  • Serve as a trusted advisor for treatment center facing teammates, ensuring they understand operational best practices for driving potential patient enrollment and program success.
  • Offer insights on potential patient engagement trends and process improvements, helping shape future strategies for hospital programs and outreach efforts.
Requirements
  • Experience in inside sales, healthcare coordination, program development, or patient advocacy.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to follow structured scripts while personalizing interactions.
  • Familiarity with hospital workflows, physician engagement, and healthcare operational challenges.
  • Ability to coach various individuals on best practices for optimizing patient engagement.
  • Experience with CRM systems and patient management tools preferred.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to meet or exceed engagement, program effectiveness, and targets.
  • Passion for healthcare education and patient empowerment, ensuring a compassionate and supportive approach in all interactions.
