As a member of the team, you'll play a key role in product implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and operational support while partnering closely with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Quality Assurance. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across both business and technical teams. The ideal candidate is motivated by continuous improvement, enjoys working with data and systems, and is eager to contribute to automation and operational excellence initiatives.

What you’d be doing:

  • Execute product testing, regression testing, and validation activities to ensure product accuracy, functionality, and quality.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve product-related issues, partnering with internal stakeholders to identify root causes and implement solutions.
  • Assist in identifying operational inefficiencies and support automation initiatives that improve accuracy, scalability, and team productivity.
  • Analyze system behavior, business requirements, and product functionality to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.
  • Serve as a technical resource for internal teams by responding to product support inquiries and helping stakeholders understand system functionality and product behavior.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, testing artifacts, process documentation, and implementation materials.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Quality Assurance teams to support successful product delivery and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions, workshops, and working sessions through a combination of virtual collaboration and in-person engagement.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across multiple teams, locations, and time zones to drive effective problem-solving and execution.
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives as business needs evolve.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in a quantitative, analytical, technical, or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Applied knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, XML, JSON, HTML, or similar technologies.
  • Experience interpreting data, validating outputs, and identifying discrepancies or opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Interest in process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and geographically distributed environment, collaborating with stakeholders across multiple teams, locations, and time zones, and willingness to travel periodically (approximately 10–15%) for team meetings, office visits, offsites, and company events.

Highly preferred candidates also have:

  • Property & Casualty insurance experience, preferably within personal or commercial lines.
  • Experience supporting insurance product implementations, product maintenance, or policy administration systems.
  • Proficiency with Visual Studio Code, GitLab, VBA, or similar development and automation tools.
  • Experience with process automation, workflow optimization, or operational efficiency initiatives.
