Blockdaemon is looking for a Program Manager to own the end-to-end delivery of our most strategic customer engagements. This role sits at the center of our highest-value relationships: large, complex, multi-stakeholder implementations with Tier 1 institutional customers, including banks, financial infrastructure providers, and other major enterprises adopting digital asset infrastructure.

This is not a roadmap or backlog-prioritization role. You won't be running sprint ceremonies for an internal product team. Instead, you'll be the connective tissue between Blockdaemon and our most important customers: structuring their engagements, driving execution against a plan, and ensuring flawless communication at every level - including with senior executives on both sides of the table.

The ideal candidate has run high-stakes, high-visibility programs before (ideally involving enterprise or institutional clients) and is equally comfortable in a detailed project plan and in a room with a customer's C-suite.

Your Impact

  • Own program management for a portfolio of Tier 1 customer engagements from kickoff through go-live and into steady state, acting as the primary point of accountability for structure, timeline, and execution — continuously improving the playbooks, templates, and best practices that raise the bar across the team.

  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, tracking scope, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, and owners; proactively drive execution, unblock work, and escalate appropriately when engagement health is at risk.

  • Serve as the primary program-level point of contact for customers, building trusted relationships with stakeholders up to and including executive sponsors.

  • Design and run a consistent cadence of engagement communication: status updates, steering committee meetings, executive business reviews, and ad hoc escalations.

  • Produce clear, executive-ready reporting for both internal leadership and customer executives, translating technical and operational detail into business-relevant narratives.

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Solutions Architecture, Product, Engineering, Support, Operations, and Legal/Compliance — managing multiple concurrent high-touch engagements while prioritizing effectively across competing timelines and stakeholder needs.

  • Own internal reporting on portfolio health, surfacing patterns, risks, and resourcing needs to leadership.

Role Requirements

  • 6+ years of program or project management experience, with a track record of managing large, complex, external-facing engagements (ideally with enterprise, institutional, or financial services customers).

  • Exceptional executive communication skills, written and verbal; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders, including C-level executives, and producing polished reporting such as status decks, executive summaries, and steering committee materials.

  • Proven ability to build and drive detailed project plans and hold cross-functional teams accountable to them, without formal authority over those teams.

  • Strong track record of structuring ambiguous, complex engagements into clear plans, workstreams, and reporting cadences.

  • Strong risk and issue management discipline combined with comfort operating in fast-moving environments: able to spot problems early, drive resolution, and know when to escalate, all while managing multiple high-stakes engagements concurrently.

  • A calm, organized, detail-oriented operator who instills confidence in both customers and internal teams under pressure.

  • Based in the US (East Coast), with flexibility to work customer hours across time zones and travel as needed for key milestones and executive meetings.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 USD annually. The final offer will be determined based on factors including your experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity considerations.

In addition to base salary, this role includes equity compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. We offer competitive health cover, 401k, flexible paid time off, and other perks designed to support your wellbeing and professional growth.

This position is remote and open to candidates located anywhere in the United States, with a preference for those on the East Coast.

Blockdaemon is committed to pay transparency and equal pay practices. We determine compensation based on role requirements, candidate qualifications, and market data—never on protected characteristics.
