Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Project Cost Administrator to join our amazing culture for the Vertical Market team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing project financials, coordinating closeout tasks with multiple groups, and leading WIP meetings as necessary. As a Project Cost Administrator, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

  •  Review projects for margin performance, cost issues, required billings, and accounts receivable (A/R) status.
  • Document project status and action items in Smartsheet to ensure visibility and timely follow-up by appropriate teams.
  • Participate in and lead monthly project (WIP) meetings with the CTC offices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Procurement, Sales, or Project Management to resolve project issues.
  • Make financial adjustments and perform project close out activities within the financial system.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage financial responsibilities in a fast-paced install business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial reports.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience: (but not required):  

  • 2-3 years project cost experience
