REED Construction, a rapidly growing full-service construction firm with extensive expertise in general contracting and design-build, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team.

Job Description

  • Manage project life cycle including subcontractor negotiations and buyout, project scheduling, material procurement, RFI’s, pencil draws, change order management and project close out   
  • Conduct meetings with clients, architects and other partners to provide project updates; engage in team collaboration and communication with the Superintendent to proactively resolve any on-site issues keeping the project on track  
  • Generate detailed and accurate conceptual budgets from space plans, and/or renderings and/or scope notes  
  • Serve as the point of contact for project management staff, subcontractors, building owners and managers, building engineers, architects and more

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred but not required)
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience, preferably interiors
  • Goal-oriented – ability to react quickly to changing circumstances and still achieve the desired end results  
  • Calm and professional demeanor, even in high-pressure situations  
  • Strong understanding of project cost analysis  
  • Experience with project management software is a plus (Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, Timberline, Salesforce, Microsoft Project)   
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
