Job Description

The Project Manager - New Hire Enablement will join our Business Operations team overseeing training and enablement for new hires across the North America Services organization. This person will design, scale, and lead end-to-end onboarding and role-based training programs, both virtually and in-person, specifically tailored to accelerate the time-to-readiness for new project manager, customer support manager, and key technical roles.

This person will own the complete lifecycle of new hire learning journeys, from conducting initial skills gap analyses and designing structured learning paths, to facilitating interactive training and assessing field readiness. The ideal candidate is a proactive, data-driven leader with a blend of instructional design expertise, project management discipline, and a passion for setting up technical teams for long-term success. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development, coordination, execution, and maintenance of training content for the North America Services Organization.

  • Managing all logistical aspects of training programs, conferences, trade shows, networking/hospitality events of all sizes

  • Taking full accountability for the event lifecycle, encompassing strategy development, RFP and contracting, planning, onsite execution, and post-show budget reconciliation.

  • Negotiating contracts with venues and third-party agencies to book training/meeting space (physical or virtual), 

  • Overseeing project scope, managing budgets, setting and managing critical timelines, scheduling sessions, coordinating participant registration, managing training materials and equipment, and tracking attendance

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders from various functional teams to ensure event alignment with senior leadership’s strategic vision.

  • Travel to event sites to oversee event logistics and operations, ensuring smooth execution and that senior leadership, presenters, and attendees are satisfied with the event experience. 

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through various methods, such as surveys, feedback forms, assessments, and performance data. Analyze evaluation results and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Engage with stakeholders to identify and implement continuous process improvements.

  • Administer and maintain the company's LMS, including uploading courses, managing user accounts, tracking training progress, and generating reports.

  • Maintain accurate training records and generate reports on training activities, participation rates, departmental cost transfers, and evaluation results.

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify training gaps and opportunities for improvement within the organization. Analyze job requirements, performance data, and employee feedback to determine training needs.

  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable steps.

Qualifications:

  • Strong instructional design background (ADDIE, SAM, or agile learning design methodologies) with experience creating technical learning collateral.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills; able to track project milestones, manage competing priorities, and report key enablement metrics to leadership.

  • Highly collaborative; able to build productive, positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of event planning and execution.

  • Creativity in developing innovative solutions and strategies for events and training.

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities to address challenges that arise during event execution.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in dynamic environments and respond to changing circumstances.

  • 3+ years of professional experience in at least one of the following paths:

    • Enablement & Training: Experience designing, coordinating, or delivering corporate training programs for adult learners.

    • Operational Subject Matter Expertise: Hands-on experience working directly in Project Management or Customer Support/Success operations, with a strong interest in transferring those operational skills into onboarding and curriculum development.

Target Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
