Role summary

You will lead multiple complex, customer-facing infrastructure projects across regulated enterprise environments, coordinating both remote and on-site delivery. This role requires hands-on project leadership across physical infrastructure deployments, field resources, vendors, financials, risks, and multisite implementations.
Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day execution of multiple complex infrastructure projects with concurrent workstreams and field-based activities.
  • Manage physical infrastructure deployments, including network refreshes, servers, routers, switches, low-voltage cabling, hardware installations, and site readiness.
  • Develop detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), dependencies, milestones, and critical paths incorporating logistics, materials, site access, and field execution.
  • Coordinate technicians, field resources, vendors, installation teams, schedules, and materials across customer locations.
  • Manage multisite technology deployments while ensuring consistent execution across locations.
  • Monitor project scope, schedules, resources, risks, constraints, financials, and deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to site access, physical dependencies, materials, resource availability, scheduling, and customer requirements.
  • Build trusted relationships with external customers and internal stakeholders, particularly within highly regulated and security-conscious environments.
  • Develop and maintain resource and capacity plans across concurrent engagements.
  • Manage project financials, including revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates, utilization, and budget performance.
  • Provide clear status reporting and escalation communications to customers, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery while following established project governance and quality assurance standards.
Requirements – Must-haves
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager leading infrastructure projects.
  • Proven ownership of external customer-facing projects within a Professional Services or Managed Services environment.
  • Hands-on project management experience with physical infrastructure deployments such as network refreshes, server installations, routing/switching infrastructure, low-voltage cabling, or hardware migrations.
  • Experience coordinating field execution, including technicians, vendors, materials, schedules, site access, and installation activities.
  • Experience managing multisite deployments such as Wireless/Wi-Fi, POS, branch, or enterprise site rollouts.
  • Project management experience across one or more infrastructure domains: Networking, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud, Security, or Unified Communications.
  • Experience creating detailed WBS, dependencies, critical paths, resource plans, and project schedules.
  • Strong risk management skills, including identification, mitigation, escalation, and communication of delivery risks.
  • Experience managing project budgets and financial performance.
  • Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and aggressively track execution against timelines.
  • Strong documentation, organization, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with project management and reporting tools.
Nice-to-haves (optional)
  • Experience delivering infrastructure projects for global financial institutions or other highly regulated organizations.
  • Experience supporting Federal Government infrastructure projects.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance for opportunities requiring access to classified environments.
  • PMP and/or CAPM certification.
  • Experience with Clarity or similar project financial and portfolio management platforms.
  • Experience with large-scale network, data center, or infrastructure modernization programs.
