Job Overview

HUB International’s Technology and Operations Delivery PMO is seeking a Project Manager to join a collaborative, high-performing team supporting enterprise technology initiatives across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated project management professional looking to deepen their experience, expand their organizational impact, and advance their career within a large, dynamic company.

The successful candidate will bring foundational delivery experience, a genuine service orientation toward business and project teams, and a disciplined approach to risk management. They will work closely with delivery teams, change management, and business partners to execute meaningful technology projects that support HUB’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery on IT-enabled initiatives of small to moderate complexity, from initiation through close
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, risks, and issues
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks throughout the delivery lifecycle; maintain a structured risk register and ensure risks are visible, owned, and actively mitigated
  • Escalate risk exposure in a timely and transparent manner, equipping stakeholders with the information needed to make informed decisions
  • Communicate project status, decisions, and escalations clearly and consistently to stakeholders across organizational levels
  • Approach every interaction with a service mindset — anticipating needs, responding to feedback constructively, and prioritizing the success of the teams and end-users you support
  • Build productive working relationships with delivery teams and business partners to understand priorities and translate them into actionable delivery plans
  • Coordinate with vendors, IT Operations teams, and organizational change management resources to support smooth execution and end-user adoption
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of PMO delivery standards, methodologies, and team capabilities
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a project delivery role, including experience leading multiple moderately complex initiatives simultaneously
  • Solid working knowledge of waterfall delivery methodology; exposure to agile practices is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and manage project risks in a structured, proactive manner
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Service-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability to business needs, project teams, and end-users
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging appropriately for different audiences
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and receive feedback
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management and/or Agile certification
  • Experience working within a PMO environment
  • Background in business analysis or process improvement
  • Insurance industry experience
