We’re looking for a Public Relations and Communications Specialist to help strengthen our media visibility and thought leadership around the world, with a primary focus on the U.S.
This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role responsible for driving our media strategy and executive PR program. You’ll work closely with our executives, marketing, product, and customer success teams, as well as external PR agencies, to identify compelling stories and secure relevant media opportunities.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter comfortable working in the fast-moving world of AI. They’ll combine a strong strategic mindset with a sharp understanding of market trends and media interests. This individual should recognize which topics will resonate with the market, understand what journalists need, and translate complex technical information into clear and compelling business narratives.
Responsibilities:- Lead media relations strategy in partnership with external agencies—proactively pitching stories, managing inbound press inquiries, coordinating interviews, and briefing executives for interviews
- Craft compelling external communications, including press releases, media statements, bylines, and executive social media content
- Build and deepen relationships with reporters across business, AI, marketing, and ecommerce media to elevate Bloomreach's voice in the industry
- Drive our industry awards program end-to-end—identifying high-value opportunities and writing winning submissions that showcase our teams, customers, and company achievements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for two PR agencies, plus lead ad hoc strategic projects as they arise
- Support the internal communications team by turning company milestones and strategic updates into clear, high-impact announcements that keep employees informed and engaged
- Own media analytics and reporting, tracking coverage trends and translating insights into sharper PR strategy
- 2-4 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications for AI or B2B technology companies
- Excellent writing, editing, and message-framing skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders at once
- Ability to work at a global company that operates across multiple time zones
- Strong executive presence
- Experience using AI in your own work
- The ability to thrive when priorities shift
The base salary range for this position is $70,000-$100,000, plus bonus & RSU's. The pay range actually offered will take into account a variety of potential factors considered in compensation, including but not limited to skills, qualifications, geographic location, accomplishments, experience, credentials, internal equity and business needs, and may vary from the range listed above.
