The Team:

The QA Team works closely with Product Management, Software Development, and IT Operations. QA services include testing methods such as user acceptance, functionality, performance, regression, and more that help to ensure the quality of business applications and services as well as the identification, tracking, and resolution of bugs and defects. The QA Team embraces test automation to deliver an efficient and effective Quality program.


What You’ll Be Doing: 

The QA Analyst is an integral member of our IT Team. The role is critical in our ability to ensure excellence in our applications, processes, and infrastructure, allowing for expansion of the ever-growing CCB technology portfolio. We hope to have you use your knowledge of the mortgage origination process to help us:

  • Create workflow-based test cases to verify functionality and usability of the software 
  • Execute test cases with an eye toward user experience as well as meeting the requirements of the workflow 
  • Report software defects, assist in troubleshooting the cause, and confirm resolution 
  • Monitor, track, and report results of tests designed to verify the impact code changes have on the software 
  • Work with the development team to ensure the end-product is ready for use by mortgage origination team members 
  • Support the system after release to troubleshoot reported defects, report verified bugs, and confirm resolution 
  • Develop measures to ensure quality of the software 
  • Determine needs for testing and communicate with team

 

Required Experience:

  • 0 - 2 years of experience as a software tester in a professional environment
  • 1 - 3 years' experience working in mortgage lending
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a fast learner
  • Basic proficiency Windows and Web App Usage and familiarity with MacOS, iOS and Android
  • Ability to troubleshoot unexpected outcomes
