The Quality Control Supervisor leads, develops, and holds accountable a team of Quality Control Specialists, building a culture of quality across Club Champion's operations. This role owns quality outcomes throughout the full production process, from build execution through final inspection, not just the final check before an order ships. The Supervisor sets inspection protocols, sampling procedures, and equipment standards; tracks root causes behind rejections and rework; recommends process changes that catch issues upstream, before they reach the customer. Scope covers both custom-built clubs and picked/shipped stock products. Success in this role depends on strong leadership: coaching specialists, driving consistency across shifts, partnering with other department leaders to raise quality standards throughout the business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Train new Quality Control Specialists on inspection standards and protocols. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to develop the team.
  • Review Quality Control Specialist performance. Provide guidance and feedback to support growth.
  • Monitor daily team productivity and inspection to keep orders moving without delays.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to drive efficiency and consistency across operations.
  • Oversee the Quality Control team's inspection of all outgoing orders
  • Verify that completed builds match the customer's order exactly: correct components, modifications, and finishing, in accordance with established standards.
  • Establish and maintain inspection protocols and sampling procedures
  • Proactively audit production processes upstream of final inspection. Identify quality risks before they reach the customer.
  • Track and report QC KPIs, including inspection accuracy, rejection/rework rate, and upstream process quality metrics. Identify root causes behind failed inspections and process gaps.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
