What You'll Do
- Partner with portfolio managers to analyze, develop, and improve trading strategies and models.
- Conduct research and data analysis to support investment decisions across multiple asset classes.
- Verify, normalize, and maintain large and complex data sets.
- Build, maintain, and enhance tools, processes, and systems critical to daily desk operations.
- Assist in the development of new strategies through data mining, statistical analysis, and problem solving.
- Continuously explore ways to optimize performance, streamline processes, and identify new opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong foundation in probability, statistics, and quantitative problem solving.
- Programming experience is a plus.
- Prior experience in a data-driven research environment.
- Familiarity with corporate finance, securities trading, or financial markets preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
