Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs radiology diagnostic tests safely and effectively as ordered by the physician.
Responsibilities
- Performs radiology procedures in a manner to comply with state and federal regulations
- Assists in maintaining appropriate equipment and supplies in the department
- Maintains documentation of patient testing information
- Completes other comparable duties and assignments as directed by the Radiology Manager
- Assists in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Location: Near North Region. Primarily Bannockburn, Morton Grove, and Glenview
Expectations
- Weekends required
- No holidays or call
- Hours vary 7am-8pm

Requirements
Education
- Associate’s degree in radiologic technology from an accredited school or two (2) years of experience in a directly related area
Certifications/Licensure
- Valid state Radiologic Technologist license
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
Experience
- Two (2) years of experience in a directly related area preferred
Technical Skills
- Knowledgeable in computer systems (e.g. PACS), MS Word, Excel and others
Soft Skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
Physical Requirements
- Stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Able to lift and assist patients as needed for proper positioning
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills and relevant experience.
