Summary:

The Regional Manager will play an essential role in the performance and operations of Flowspace’s Logistics Network. This is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for managing warehouse partner relationships, driving operational performance, resolving escalations, and ensuring our partners consistently meet Flowspace’s service and quality standards.

The Regional Manager will spend a significant amount of time on-site at warehouse partners near their home market, working directly with warehouse teams to understand day-to-day operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and quickly resolve issues. This person will also travel to additional warehouse partners throughout their assigned region as needed.

Serving as a key connection between Flowspace and our warehouse partners, the Regional Manager will combine operational expertise, relationship management, data analysis, and hands-on problem solving to ensure our network delivers an exceptional experience for Flowspace customers. This builds on the core partner-management, SLA, escalation, quality, onboarding, and expansion responsibilities of the Regional Manager role.
What you'll do:

  • Own the operational performance of warehouse partners across your assigned region, ensuring partners consistently meet Flowspace SLAs, quality standards, and customer expectations.
  • Spend significant time on-site at warehouse partners in your local market, developing strong relationships with warehouse leadership and frontline teams and gaining a firsthand understanding of day-to-day operations.
  • Track and analyze warehouse performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Triage and resolve operational escalations, partnering directly with warehouse teams and internal Flowspace teams to implement solutions quickly and effectively.
  • Conduct warehouse visits, operational reviews, and audits to ensure Flowspace standards and processes are being followed.
  • Partner with warehouse teams to improve inventory accuracy, receiving, fulfillment, shipping, and other critical operational workflows.
  • Serve as the primary operational relationship owner for assigned warehouse partners, building strong partnerships while holding partners accountable for performance.
  • Partner with Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, and other internal teams to effectively onboard and launch new merchants within your region.
  • Support the onboarding of new warehouse partners and ensure they are operationally prepared to serve Flowspace customers.
  • Lead training and education with warehouse partners around Flowspace technology, processes, product updates, and operational expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and expand existing warehouse partnerships.
  • Use performance data and firsthand observations from warehouse visits to identify recurring issues and recommend scalable improvements across the network.
  • Communicate warehouse performance, risks, escalations, and action plans clearly to internal stakeholders.
  • Travel throughout your assigned region to support warehouse partners, launches, audits, escalations, and other operational needs.
Travel:
  • Regular local warehouse presence with additional regional travel

Who We’re Looking For: 

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, B2C fulfillment, warehousing, supply chain, or a related operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and fulfillment workflows, particularly in DTC.
  • Previous experience managing a warehouse or fulfillment center is a plus.
  • Experience managing external partners, vendors, customers, or accounts.
  • Comfortable working on-site in fulfillment centers and taking a hands-on approach to solving operational challenges.
  • Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to move quickly when issues arise.
  • Strong relationship-management skills and the ability to build credibility with warehouse associates, warehouse leadership, and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable using data to evaluate performance, identify trends, and drive accountability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple warehouse partners, priorities, and escalations simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams, locations, and time zones.
  • These qualifications retail the experience, communication, critical-thinking, relationship-management, and urgency requirements from the previous Regional Manager position while putting greater emphasis on hands-on warehouse operations

Other Helpful Things To Know:

  • This is a field-based role and requires regular on-site presence at Flowspace warehouse partners within driving distance of the employee’s home market and travel to other warehouses.
  • Candidates should be located in or near one of Flowspace’s key logistics markets: Tri-State Area (NY/NJ/CT), Chicago, Texas, or Atlanta.
  • Additional regional and overnight travel will be required to support warehouse partners, launches, audits, escalations, and other operational needs.
  • Must be comfortable working regularly in active warehouse and fulfillment-center environments. (Generally 7am-3:30pm per standard warehouse hours)
  • Must be able to operate traditional office equipment, including a laptop, keyboard, and phone.
  • Must be comfortable using technology and communication tools such as Zoom and Slack.
  • Must be able to work effectively across multiple teams and time zones within reasonable response-time expectations.
The base salary range for this role is $80,000- $100,000 per year. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.
