LTF is a product development and manufacturing company focused on innovative engineering design and the production of electronic products, including power supplies, controllers, OEM fixtures, and LED lighting components.
We are currently seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to develop new business opportunities while managing and expanding existing OEM customer accounts. This position is based at our Huntley, Illinois headquarters and works closely with sales leadership, engineering, marketing, and operations teams.
Position Summary
The ideal candidate will have a strong B2B, customer-focused sales background, the ability to build long-term customer confidence, and a demonstrated commitment to increasing customer satisfaction through responsive and professional engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with OEM purchasers, engineers, and lighting designers to introduce LTF products and communicate their technical and commercial advantages.
- Expand sales across lighting manufacturers, electrical distributors, and national sales channels.
- Achieve assigned sales targets, pricing objectives, and profit margins within the designated territory.
- Coordinate internal resources to meet customer objectives, including engineering and marketing support when required.
- Maintain continuity of account relationships at all organizational levels between LTF and customer accounts.
- Work systematically with management to analyze and report sales performance, forecasts, market conditions, competitive activity, and industry trends.
- Provide detailed follow-up and timely resolution of customer requests and issues.
- Travel as needed for customer visits, trade shows, and business development activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience identifying, qualifying, and developing OEM customer relationships.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Electronic / Electrical manufacturing environment supporting both custom design-to-order and ship-from-inventory programs.
- Strong technical aptitude; experience in electronics or LED manufacturing preferred. Mechanical technical background will also be considered.
- Proven experience managing multi-channel sales environments.
- Familiarity with order processing, CRM, and ERP systems.
- Excellent sales planning, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze markets, manage accounts, and drive profitable growth.
- Lighting industry experience is a plus, but not required.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and results-driven with a positive attitude.
- Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency preferred.
- Proven track record in B2B Sales, and business development.
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar sales technologies.
- Ability to effectively manage sales channels, customers, and order flow.
- Background or working knowledge in electronic engineering or manufacturing environments.
