We are searching for an energetic and motivated ERP Sales Professional to be part of the ECI JobBOSS² Sales Team. As a member of our team, you will be accountable for selling our JobBOSS² products and services to small and medium manufacturing clients within a defined geographic territory. Your contributions will be instrumental in perpetuating our strong business growth. This will be achieved by using sound selling skills and good probing and listening skills, as well as having solid ERP and manufacturing industry knowledge. You will be responsible for attainment of a monthly territory revenue quota. Candidates must reside in the United States in the Central or Eastern Time Zone or be willing and able to work Central or Eastern Time Zone hours.

This position requires a background in ERP sales, as well as strong solution selling and time management skills. Manufacturing industry knowledge is a strong plus. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and self-motivated person. The role also requires team player skills, good presentation skills, excellent rapport building skills and a positive, creative attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure leads/suspects/prospects are advancing through the sales process
  • Follow up on inbound and outbound self-generated leads for specified territory
  • Generate quality attendance at prospect seminars and weekly e-seminars
  • Responsible for closing new business within specified geography to meet and exceed revenue quota
  • Work with Sales Director to strategize and execute territory management plans
  • Establish segmentation and proactive programs/tactics for prospects within the defined territory
  • Assure personal credibility/respect through domain, product, and relevant knowledge of sales tactics and strategy
  • Ability to demonstrate all products, as necessary
  • Assist in obtaining reference account customers
  • Communicate appropriate information to team members about potential customer problems to assure prompt action is taken
  • Attendance and participation at tradeshows and seminars as needed
  • Attendance and participation in on-going, specialized training sessions and sales meetings

Knowledge, Skills, Ability, Education & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of prior new account sales experience in the ERP industry (or related technologies)
  • Successful sales experience selling mission critical software product and services
  • Good awareness and understanding of manufacturing needs and issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Selling and negotiation skills
  • History of successful sales quota achievement
  • Time Management skills and ability to work under tight time constraints
  • Attention to detail
