POSITION SUMMARY:

Blendco Systems, a division of DuBois Chemicals, is looking to hire a high-performing Regional Sales Representative to assume a regional West Coast sales territory with excellent upside growth potential. Responsible for managing an existing account base and growing sales in various end markets within the assigned geography.  Accountable for increasing our market share by working alongside established distributors, as well as prospecting independently. Responsible for communicating customer needs and requirements to all functional areas of the company to ensure that efforts are coordinated resulting in rapid organic sales growth. Demonstrate the company’s core competencies of communication, customer focus, innovation, integrity & ethics, lean & safety, and passion to succeed. Candidate should live in the Los Angeles area.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Effectively build and manage long-term internal and external customer relationships.

  • Manage key accounts of mid-sized and large accounts with an opportunity for increased wallet share with existing customers.

  • Create new business growth through prospecting in a large market with market-share upside.

  • Efficient problem solving partnered with a value-added selling process that focuses on winning customers and retaining repeatable consumable business.

  • Create and maintain a viable territory plan to achieve sales targets.

  • Accurately qualify competitive situations and align the best value proposition to win business.

  • Negotiate profitable solutions and pricing with customers.

  • Build a robust sales pipeline that supports expected profitable growth.

  • Travel to current and prospective customers to develop relationships and grow sales.

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or chemistry preferred.

  • 2+ years of industrial sales success in the car wash chemicals industry, chemical distribution sales, chemical application, or relevant industries.

  • Proven knowledge and experience selling to end users and distributors.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage long-term customer relationships at all levels of customers organization.

  • Proven effectiveness in prospecting, delivering effective presentations and closing new projects.

  • Strong work ethic, competitive drive, and high achievement orientation.

  • Driven to perform with the willingness to learn and grow.

  • Strong consultation, negotiation, collaboration, and problem-resolution

  • Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to understand new product lines and utilize knowledge to fulfil customer needs.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM tools (Customer Management Relationship), and internet-based programs

  • Professionally developed sales and territory management skills

  • Strong time management skills, process orientation and attention to details

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% including overnight travel.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Candidate should live in the Los Angeles region
