Position Summary

Guggenheim is seeking an established and successful sales professional with strong relationships in the Mid-Atlantic (D.C, Maryland, Virginia) region within the wire house and regional broker/dealer channels. The individual will be responsible for the growth of Guggenheim's mutual fund, SMA, ETF, DCIO and UCITs business. As an RVP, the individual will perform as part of a sales team, which includes an internal wholesaling partner, DCIO partner, and Portfolio Specialist. This is a remote position, and this person will reside within the region.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead sales effort with financial intermediaries in defined territory
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with financial intermediaries to generate assets
  • Help educate financial advisors on the benefits of Guggenheim products and services for their clients, through individual or group meeting presentations, including conference calls, branch visits, seminars, conferences, or training sessions
  • Develop and implement territory business plans to deliver on assigned sales goal
  • Maintain activity and profile data in the CRM
  • Keep current and adhere to compliance and regulatory policies specific to licensing requirements, continuing education, and firm-mandated training (license requirements FINRA 7, 63)
  • Responsible for keeping current on company’s products, initiatives, and marketing campaigns
  • Manage expense account and allotted budget and file expense reports in a timely manner
  • Work closely with assigned internal wholesaler to deliver sales goals by identifying and fostering leads generated from referrals, digital ad campaigns and cold calls

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Finance or Business)
  • Current FINRA Registrations (Series 7, 63, 65, and/or 66)
  • Must reside in corresponding geographic territory

  • Energetic, self-motivated, positive attitude, goal-oriented
  • Strong work ethic, and leadership skills
  • High degree of integrity
  • Ability and willingness to prepare relentlessly and execute passionately
  • Strong relationship building skills—client focused
  • Technical/Computer skills should include experience with Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
  • Familiarity with investment strategies and concepts

Salary Expectation:

Annual base salary:

$75,000.00

Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The salary listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
