The Boeing Company is actively seeking a Mid-Level Reliability, Maintainability, & System Health (RM&SH) Engineer for the Space Launch System (SLS) program in either Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF), Louisiana, or Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Florida.

As a member of RM&SH, you will support the design, manufacture, test, and/or sustainment of state-of-the-art technology. Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate risk of system failure and support proposed changes in design using National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) methodology.

  • Review supplier submittals from a RM&SH perspective.

  • Mentor early career engineers and analysts.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

  • Experienced, Level 3: Typically, 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.

  • Lead, Level 4: Typically, 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.

  • Some SLS program experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to obtain NASA badge/access

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering

This is a 1st shift position.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range, Experienced Level 3: $97,750 - $ 132,250

Summary pay range, Lead level 4: $ 119,850 - $162,150
