Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the data platform, focusing on efficiency and scalability
- Design and implement solutions for data storage and data management
- Build and maintain backups and recovery systems
- Work on data processing pipelines to improve performance and reliability
- Collaborate on initiatives related to cloud infrastructure and deployment
- Reason about data efficiency in high-performance environments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong programming skills; proficiency in Go (primary language)
- Experience with C++ (preferred) and ability to transition to Go if primarily C++-based
- Background in the tech industry preferred; experience in finance industry a plus
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or other major providers)
