  • Lead staffing meetings with department heads to assess impacts on resource needs and upcoming priorities.
  • Match talent to projects based on skills, experience, and team dynamics.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of team capabilities and specialized expertise across disciplines.
  • Document team configurations that work well together and leverage these insights for future staffing.
  • Balance resource preferences with business needs, ensuring continuity while providing variety where possible.
  • Track utilization and capacity, accounting for non-billable activities such as training and development.
  • Partner with leadership to forecast upcoming needs and ensure appropriate talent availability.
  • Manage freelance and vendor relationships, determining when to augment internal teams with external resources.
  • Proactively review the project pipeline and adjust resource plans accordingly.
  • Serve as a talent advocate, ensuring individuals are placed on projects that support growth and engagement.
  • Collaborate with other Resource Managers across the network to share talent and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in project management, operations, or staffing within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of staff augmentation models and global shoring strategies.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and act as a strategic partner to leadership and delivery teams.
  • Analytical skills combined with strong interpersonal abilities to navigate diverse personalities and preferences.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between operational and business needs.
  • Experience managing teams through high-pressure situations such as launches, deadlines, and large-scale initiatives.
