Job Position Summary:

The Resource Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that decisions across Resource Operations are executed with consistency, clarity, and discipline. This role sits at the center of hiring, delivery engagement, and resource planning workflows — maintaining operating cadence, tracking commitments, coordinating handoffs, and surfacing execution risks.

By owning execution follow-through and visibility, this role reduces delays, prevents dropped handoffs, and minimizes reactive escalation, enabling leadership to trust that once decisions are made, execution will reliably follow. This role does not make hiring, staffing, or delivery decisions; it ensures those decisions are executed cleanly, visibly, and predictably.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Operating Cadence & Execution Rhythm – Establish and run recurring weekly and monthly operating rhythms across Resource Operations to ensure hiring, engagement, and planning activities progress predictably and remain aligned to approved decisions and priorities.
  • Action, Commitment & Dependency Tracking – Track decisions, action items, owners, dependencies, and timelines across Resource Operations initiatives, ensuring commitments are followed through to completion and execution health remains visible.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination & Handoffs – Facilitate clean sequencing and handoffs between Talent Acquisition, Hiring Readiness & Capability, Delivery Resource Engagement, and Delivery Resource Planning & Insights to prevent execution gaps or rework.
  • Execution Health Monitoring & Risk Escalation – Monitor execution progress and proactively identify risks, blockers, timing conflicts, or unclear ownership; escalate issues with context, impact, and recommended next steps.
  • Operational Reporting & Visibility – Produce concise, leadership-ready reporting that provides clear visibility into execution status, risks, dependencies, and upcoming decisions across Resource Operations.
  • Process Discipline & Standards – Maintain execution discipline, cadence standards, and operating hygiene without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy, ensuring Resource Operations scales predictably.
  • Communication & Alignment – Communicate status, priorities, risks, and next steps clearly and calmly to leaders and cross-functional partners, reinforcing accountability through visibility rather than authority.
  • Additional Responsibilities – Perform other tasks and duties as required to support and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Strong execution management and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to maintain cadence and follow-through.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams without direct authority.
  • Comfortable operating in delivery-critical, fast-moving environments with competing priorities.
  • Clear, concise communicator with strong judgment and escalation instincts.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accountability and ownership.
  • Self-starter with integrity, professionalism, and sound discretion.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
  • 6–10+ years of experience in operations enablement, program operations, delivery enablement, or execution-focused roles.
  • Proven success tracking decisions, commitments, dependencies, and outcomes across cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven history of using data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to inform business decisions.
  • Familiarity with operational systems such as ATS, HRIS, planning, or reporting tools (e.g., Greenhouse, Paylocity, Excel, Power BI, Jira) preferred.
  • Exposure to professional services, consulting, or technology delivery organizations is preferred.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, delivery-driven environments preferred.
