Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Sales Executive will report to the Sr. Director, Strategic Sales & Planning- R&W Retirement Sales Department. This role is responsible for developing sales strategies and attracting new clients within an assigned territory working as a team with a Relationship Manager. This position will seek to increase revenue and meet sales goals by qualifying prospects within the retirement industry, including TPAs, Non-Enterprise Recordkeepers, Payroll Firms, Banks, Benefit Firms and other potential distribution partners. The Manager, Retirement Services Sales will market the entire suite of products and services of Inspira's Retirement Services Group within the assigned territory.• Forecast and implement strategic sales plans to meet territory account and revenue targets, tracking activity and effectiveness in Salesforce• Develop sales and marketing plans with Relationship Manager to create role clarity and accountability.• Maintain and expand assigned prospecting database and opportunities pipeline• Generate new business through qualifying leads, leveraging industry contacts, frequent in-person visits, presentations, conference attendance, calls and emails• Identify and understand the client's business strategies and industry to determine new business opportunities provide the appropriate solution(s).• Maintain industry knowledge and regulatory changes as appropriate to effectively position Inspira products and services as value-added solutions.• Research and understand capabilities and gaps of competitors offerings and best way to position Inspira as an industry leader.• Work cross-functionality with Product Management, and other internal business units, such as Operations, Legal, Marketing and Client Service.• Meet Sales Goals within assigned region.• Other duties as assigned.
