About Tab Service Company

Tab Service Co. is a Chicago-area B2B tax information reporting and document processing company. Our TSC1099 platform handles outsourced tax form processing, print and mail fulfillment, and IRS e-filing for institutional clients in higher education, financial services, and insurance. After two years of ground-up development, we are launching TSC1099 V2 — the next generation of our platform — and we need a leader to bring our clients onto it and support them into the future.

The Role

Own the migration of our client base from TSC1099 V1 to V2. You will build and run the migration playbook, serve as the senior point of contact for a portfolio of institutional accounts, and lead a team of technical support and customer service staff supporting those accounts. You will start with our beta cohort and scale the process across the full client base.

What You'll Do

  • Build and run the end-to-end migration plan, timeline, and repeatable playbook.
  • Manage a portfolio of migrating accounts as the senior escalation point and trusted advisor.
  • Lead and supervise a team of technical support and customer service staff — setting priorities, managing workload, and developing the team.
  • Guide clients through data mapping, file-format changes, testing, and validation with no disruption to their tax reporting.
  • Coordinate with development team, account managers, and production to optimize migrations and clear blockers.
  • Track progress against milestones and report status to leadership.
  • Transition to a platform/product management role post migration

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years in implementation, onboarding, customer success, technical account management, or professional services, including 2+ years supervising others.
  • Proven success running complex, multi-account projects or migrations on a deadline.
  • Strong technical aptitude — SaaS platforms, structured data files (CSV, fixed-width, XML), data mapping, and integration troubleshooting. No coding required, but you must speak the language.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical teams and non-technical client stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience with tax information reporting (1099, 1042-S, 1095, W-2), IRS e-filing (FIRE/IRIS), or document/print-mail processing.
  • Familiarity with higher education, financial services, or insurance clients.
  • Background in SaaS platform migrations or major version upgrades.

 Why Join Tab Service

  • Become part of a professional technology team with a vision for the future.
  • Shape how our client base experiences our biggest product launch in years.
  • We value our team members and provide opportunities for developing new skills
  • You will work directly with company leadership.
