Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Leader to join our growing team and report directly to the Head of Risk Management and Safety. This role will focus on the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of safety protocols, helping to ensure the health, safety, and compliance of our workforce across multiple operational sites. The Safety Leader will play an integral role in fostering a safety-first culture and driving continuous improvements to mitigate risk at every stage of the staffing process.

Key Responsibilities:
Safety Program Implementation: Lead the execution of safety programs and initiatives across Job&Talent’s various operations, ensuring that all safety standards meet or exceed OSHA and other industry-specific regulations.
Safety Audits & Risk Assessments: Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and on-site inspections to identify potential hazards and risks. Develop and oversee strategies to mitigate these risks and improve overall safety outcomes.
Incident Investigation & Reporting: Manage the investigation and documentation of any safety incidents, accidents, or near-misses. Analyze trends and provide actionable insights to improve safety measures. Ensure corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver safety training programs for all levels of staff, from on-site workers to management, ensuring everyone is well-informed about safety best practices, compliance, and emergency response protocols.
Safety Culture Advocacy: Work closely with the operations, HR, and leadership teams to embed a safety-conscious culture across the organization. Promote open communication regarding safety concerns and collaborate on solutions.
Compliance Monitoring: Keep track of safety-related regulatory changes and ensure all operations are consistently compliant with federal, state, and local safety standards. Maintain accurate records and safety documentation.
Reporting & Metrics: Create and deliver regular safety reports to the Head of Risk Management and Safety, highlighting key metrics, incidents, and the effectiveness of safety strategies. Use data to inform the development of proactive safety initiatives.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Partner with cross-functional teams, including HR, operations, and management, to ensure safety is prioritized in all aspects of the staffing process, from recruitment to on-site activities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, Environmental Health, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in staffing with Safety experience.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic safety programs and risk management strategies.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse teams.
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30, CSP (Certified Safety Professional), or similar credentials are a plus.
- Ability to travel to client sites within assigned region
