We're looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Digital Banking and Strategic Markets sales team. This new role will prospect and develop qualified sales opportunities for Business Development Executives (BDEs). SDRs are responsible for prospecting and developing opportunities within current and new accounts through, but not limited to, outbound cold-calling efforts, email campaigns, and/or inbound lead qualification.

What you will do

  • Research and analyze prospective targets
  • Manage all lead source opportunities
  • Support marketing campaigns – developing target lists, follow up, and appointment setting
  • Maintain and update Salesforce – meetings, notes, prospecting, etc.
  • Coordinate with sales team member's calendars and schedule meetings based on geographic visits
  • Manage monthly “touch” campaigns for new business development
  • Follow up on all web cast and eSeminar leads
  • Assist with seminars, tradeshows, and conferences
  • Assist with references and request for proposal (RFP) process
  • Support sales/service team regarding product lead qualification and appointments
  • Provide regular updates to product management and sales/service teams
  • Manage business development metrics and revenue generated
  • Data mining and research sales territory and accounts
  • Regular communication and strategy with product management and sales/service

What experience you need

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, sales, business development, lead generation, and/or lead management 
  • Outbound telephone cold-calling experience preferred, particularly in enterprise and/or midmarket B2B sales environments
  • Exposure selling/introducing/discussing services with Director or “C” level executives
  • Ability to open doors via telephone conversations and reach key decision-makers will be critical
  • Knowledge/experience with a 'contact’ database such as SFDC preferred
  • Experience using MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Suite
  • Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills: creative, articulate, concise, and persuasive

Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $60,000.00 to $75,000.00. This position is also eligible for our sales incentive compensation program at approximately 25%.
